Hi, I'm Shannon!
I am so glad you are here! If you are anything like me, you are looking for health answers in a sea of confusion. It wasn't long ago I was chasing every fad diet that came through my feed, health program I'd hear about on a podcast, and crazy online "health" challenge hoping to find the answer to get my health and habits in check. I was on a detox-retox cycle of eating and drinking to excess and then punishing myself with deprivation and shame. It never worked for long. I could never figure out why I could do good for a few weeks and then go back to eating the same junk food and drinking wine like it was going out of style, even though I knew deep down I didn't want to be doing that anymore.
I discovered changing my behaviors through willpower fueled by guilt and shame was not the answer. I found freedom from alcohol and dieting through self compassion, curiosity, and challenging my old beliefs to rewrite my story. It was my great reset. If I can do it, so can you!

I define freedom from alcohol as being free from the attachment and desire for alcohol so that it is small and irrelevant in one's life.
I aim to help others uncover their unconscious beliefs and evaluate their habitual patterns with alcohol so they can unlock their full potential and consciously choose the lifestyle that works for them, whether that is moderation or living an alcohol-free lifestyle. I believe that every individual is free to choose what is right for their unique body, life circumstance and overall wellness.
While I celebrate my own alcohol freedom and choose to be abstinent, I know everyone is on their own unique journey and I respect the various paths people choose to take.
